Sadness

As the sadness has me in its grip once more I function, but not very well
wonder if I will ever find the mate I've searched for all these years
or is it just an illusion that he exists, a fantasy of my soul, an open wound
never meant to heal, just meant to feel, feeding the steady flow of tears

A lover may put a band-aid on for as long as they deem to stick
but the true healing needs the moments of understanding, of the mind,
appreciation of the body is the bonus, and the ultimate magnificence is love
which heals the wounds of yesterdays, and all three become aligned

As the sadness has me in its grip…………I wonder

  Eerst heel veel van onszelf houden ,de wonden helen en voor je het weet en goed beseft ,zit er dan totaal onverwacht, van iemand waarvan je het nooit zou hebben verwacht een mailtje in je mailbox........enfin ik geloof dat zelf, kijk daarom alle dagen mijn mailbox zorgvuldig na en als er niet inzit op wat ik hoop dan denk ik "och ....op een andere dag" en zo loopt het leven dan lekker door met hoogtes om te lachen en laagtes om de hoogtes te waarderen......ben dus dol op een vallei.
