The first thing in the morning
I receive a mail from you
with a piece of music
which means a lot to you

and in listening to the words
I hear the messages you send
for the way I feel sometimes
it uplifts me to no end

and throughout the day
we communicate
your advice and kindness
my soul, they medicate

how do I thank someone
whom I have never met
we sometimes write together
two languages no barriers set

you came into my life
across the poets' site
an angel without wings
but your words in full flight

you pull me up and give me hope
with every word you send
how can I ever thank you
the angel I call my friend.
