Can you hear the angels singing in the sky
as I take your hand in mine
hear beyond our differences, an open mind
for only a moment in time
Can you see the lights shining in my eyes
reflections of the present, defying the past
everything is disappearing, I see only you
the moment goes so fast
Can you feel the pulse of my burning heart
hold me tighter so you don't miss a beat
take me now, do not wait, take me in
the moment to still the heat
Can you touch the centre of my realm
immersed in my body and soul
feel the throb, the quivering in
the moment - the loss of control
Can you hold the moments
gently in your core
and remember I am ready to
sing with angels once more
