Bellydancing
It's a new day, yesterday seems far away
and although I felt as if at home I should stay
I took the initiative, to get back some power
every muscle aches from dancing for an hour
it looked so simple, but I was about to see
no break in the tempo, moved parts of me
that got a surprise, never been used before
hips moved and rotated separately from torso
head kept still while the boobs did their thing
stretching and bending, arms gracefully extending
thank goodness it was a beginners class
we all had trouble with shimmy so fast
kept going left when I should have gone right
in the mirror it was a pathetic sight
but things will get better I have been assured of easing
the exercise was strenuous but pleasing
the mood of the dancers, was to have a lot of fun
and in the end it was had by everyone
will master it some time down the line
but for now it was just an experience sublime
so glad that I didn't let go of the chance
to try and learn to bellydance.

Practice makes perfect, especially the shimmy. I've been taking bellydancing classes for over 4 years now and I started teaching classes since this year, so if you ever need some advice... ;)

Goed zo J., de shimmy is enkel in begin wat moeilijk, ik ben
er enkele jaren geleden mee begonnen en heb er nu al
jaren plezier van.......het geeft zo een heerlijk vrouwelijk gevoel.
