It's Time to Leave
It's time to leave let's pack our bags and travel the world again
time is wasted on separation and wondering what if when,
we'll live each day in a new place, according to our whim
and leave the past behind for peaceful days in the sun
we'll live in houses big or medium, or no matter how small
and suck the life out of the freedom call, escape the bloody rat race
if we never return to the shackles of our former lives
who cares we'll have a ball, no souvenirs to carry home
new memories created each day, the past is history
never to return, pack your bags let's not delay
we'll ride the horses on the beach at sunset or at dawn
and no longer live according to the relentless rules of life
in cities, so ordered and cruel always dependent on fuel
it's time to leave let's pack our bags forever to be gone.
