Complications of the normal kind, drive me crazy all the time
no respite from the mailman and his blue envelopes
constant sales pitches on the telephone, buy me, pay me
don't delay me, change your way, and save the day
don't answer the phone if the number is unknown
it's just the lousy bank, they've pulled another automatic prank
all the numbers to remember postcodes, pincodes, all the log-in codes
numbers, figures, statistics and records, information overkill
overburdened, overworked, overtaxed, overrun by everyone
where is the meadow in the warm spring sun, where I can lie
and look at the sky for hours on end and just be - no fee
