Touched by the sun in a warm embrace
looking out my front window I watched it slip into the sea
leaving no promises for today, just grey clouds
tinged in hues of pink and orange
touched by you, it seems a long time ago
looking through the window of time
I watched you slip away
into your future, leaving me behind
touched by a passion all out of proportion
overwhelmed with carnal desires
looking into my heart as it beats to the rhythm of life
slowly unlocking itself, as I had thrown the key into the sea
