Endless Silence
As language leaves me, incoherence deceives me
floating on a gulf of emotional waves, entering dark caves
you pluck me from drowning, insubordinate and rough
hold on so tight, I'm shivering, cold and contrite
your favours elude, my senses exude the invisible blood
my thoughts come undone, your genius remains unsung
there is no kindness to be found, no laughter, no sound
and I, bereft of my dignity, lie on the ground of iniquity
who would throw the first stone, in stillness waiting, prone
only hearing noise of ill will and words of endless silence

Misschien overwegen om witregels in te lassen, want nu is het echt een blok en dat leest niet altijd even vlot. Maar dat is slechts bijzaak, wat telt is de inhoud en die is subliem!
