Intelligent yet unwise, thousand books read
by writers living and those long dead
to glean a truth from what was said

husband number four, soon to be ex
with this decision she did perplex
insulted his ego, she's far too complex

writing, sculpting, painting, dancing
new house, new friends always advancing
along fresh avenues seeking, glancing

thirst for knowledge on every level
intellectual to sustain, physical to revel
her nose in places frequented by the devil

only those who know her can assess
and love her even though she'd digress
they know she's just a Work In Progress
