door killea

Butterfly kiss my forehead
sip from my tears of happiness
make your way to my lips
take your time, drain my stress

your eyes mirror my pain
slowly diminishing fear
soft, mellifluous murmurs
of love are all I hear

serenity takes control
echoing promises made
our bodies sing to each other
a wordless serenade
