Fairy Tales
Once upon a time
it always starts like that
with evil stepmothers
rabbits in a hat
big bad wolf
interested in little girls
sisters jealous
of Cinder's curls
princes, princesses
many a dwarf
and women, witches
who can metamorph
Goldilocks who's into
porridge and beds
red and white roses
beauty to turn heads
Alice liked to travel
to a foreign land
pied piper had following
when he started his band
evil little men, evil kings
magical wells
marital rings
oh, not to regret
Peter Pan and Wendy
and their little secret
fairy tales, prep for life
read to the small babes
of impending strife
not to mention all the pain
the liars and sneaks
a world so filled
with avaricious freaks
then again, they show
there'll be a friend
to give a helping hand
an imaginary happy end
sleep well, life will be grand

Morgen post ik een stuk over de duivel... killea: thank you for your fine FB on my persiflage Dora, look forward to your Devil tomorrow

Gaan we nu allemaal met sprookjes beginnen? Mij goed. Laten we dan maar met een enkel vertelseltje beginnen en niet alles door elkaar te gooien
Willy killea: Now Willy, it is not a fairy tale it is a persiflage on fairy tales with a distinct message

All these fairy tales are a sublimation of reality. Their happy-ends a message of no relenting hope. One can not do without it.
Beautiful, Killea! killea: Indeed not, Christine
thank you
