not knowing who
or what to find there
but just going to be gone

with melancholy abundant
she'll pack her bags
a pocket full of memories
and airline tags
she'll wear her boots
strut through the village
of her family's roots
and miss you by her side

Lees wel eens over dit groene eiland waar de mensen warm gastvrij en vriendschappelijk zijn maar ben er nooit geweest.
Het meisje dat terug naar haar roots gaan heeft zoals de meeste Ieren rook haar en groene ogen.
Mijn vrouw heeft ook rode haren en groenblauwe ogen !

I've never understood why children with red hair in school are called names.
