Between the pages
of life's story
what is written on the
blank sheets
did you miss
the opportunity of a day
a month, a year or more
the invisible ink
starts to glow
while those pages full
of written words
coherent or not
begin to fade
found in a drawer
or carton, in the attic
hours pass in time past
thoughts lost
and found
in the empty spaces
between the lines
tears flow
the glow of blank pages
show unalterable changes
sorrows grow
carton closed again
to relive
and weep
