Anger
Anger
Tell me what you saw in the mountains
I will tell you what I heard in the valley
how many times did you escape death
my murderers too numerous to tally
lost my gold band, somewhere in the sand
never to be found again
anger eats me like a disease
only to be misunderstood
and I will tell you as soon as I can
not that it will do any good
lost my gold band, it slipped off my hand
without a whisper of goodbye
and I
will never find it again…
soul cries flooding rains of pain
tell me what you saw in the mountains
so I may see it too

I know the feeling June, that golden band meant probably the whole world and especially the person who gave it to you...
killea: the gold band was an heirloom over a hundred years, but metaphorically you got it...it stood for so much more.
