Wonder where you are
so long out of sight
when I needed you most
in darkness of night
shadows of the past
trample pleading soul
crushed present dreams
you slip into a black hole
sworn truth became a lie

search for peace of mind
tranquillity in this life
enough lessons unlearned
overdoses undeserved strife
