door killea

Disappearing slowly
from all that went before
closure incomplete
cannot find the door

talk is precious
but lies lie deep
silence between words
defying peace in sleep

and nothing is forgotten
as Spring again draws nigh
feeling all the urges
take wings and fly

when promises written
with an empty pen
were made so feebly
recorded back then

make or break
the scene is in place
script written, etched
in your loving face

as I lose myself
in your sweet dreams
the door I seek
is you it seems...
