With love and more…

In her big empty bed sleep falls slow
where was her beloved now
to stroke her body as he did
did he watch her go
painfully slow

and all that needs to be said
who will be in his big bed
tomorrow or Sunday when one breaks bread
did he not hear
the sound of her fear

his life and hers connected
finding the sum of expected
how grand it had been
everyone who had seen
the strength of love in between

so troublesome infected
now they wait as time will tell
if all is lost or all is well
who comes to his door
for all his love and more..?
