glass is not safe,
smashed dishes too
switches stop working,
antique lamp destroyed
watches stop,
printers ruined,
doors won't open
destruction moves with you
you broke unwittingly
all the beer glasses
my elegant wine goblets too
I'm not the first to tell you this
everything breaks
when you're around
nothing is safe or sound
the grate of my car
the gold amulet I gave to you
metal cracked around your neck
an exorcism would be
an option to consider
what is it with you

but of all the things shattered
it was only my heart that mattered
for it belonged to you
