Defining moments
seeking the defining moments
a search, day by day
reconstructions almost impossible
discoveries along the way
change being inevitable
like the yearly seasons
a plethora of chances
unaccountable reasons
how often did my power
slip out of my hands
and ties were made
with expensive gold bands
no prophecy will be fulfilled
no vows made, no rest found
hear the church bells ring for the dead
only their sound is profound
looking for the defining moments
which determine to carry the load
are you taking me, or am I taking you
together on this wild road
don't give me a ring with words
spoken in nights of euphorie
blood on fire courses through my body
but I know, it doesn't define me...
