We have a little gaon
a daughter not a son
with a photographic memory
her aim in life is to be free
new kindergarten date
a two metre fence and gate
to protect and keep inside
where the little ones abide
mother says goodbye to minder
child goes to gate, she's a climber
up the fence and opens the gate
now there's a big security debate
no safety latch can keep her out
once seen, she's out and about
in languages she is no fool
not yet three she wants to go to school
teaching her to sing and dance
she picks it up, loves the happy prance
we have a gaon in the family tree
God help us she'll always be so savvy

(Gaon = Hebrew for genius)
