In the greater scheme of life
deserving all that is true
releasing past to its place
into the river that runs through
the battles seem so huge
along the road of confusion
questions loom, overwhelming
a mountain of illusion
winds of recurring confusion


to be but a simple wild flower
blooming, ever more to please
no wants, no needs, just being
in fields, along river banks, under trees
admired, loved, just for existing
in the wind, sun and rain
happily living for its duration
no concerns with the mundane
then tranquilly departing to return again.
