Suicide

It was a small thing. Neither lack of money, nor her lover leaving her in desperation. Not the suffocating past memories. She could have lived with her misery. It was the kindness of a stranger, really seeing her, taking time to ask how she was faring, which opened the floodgates of her life, in the red waters of her bath.
