The woman of the sea
There where the water glistens
deep in his realms so free
he casts his net to catch
the woman of the sea
when she sings his heart is filled
his net as full as can be
he hears her words and understands
the woman of the sea
Ondine, was not her real name
but she came aboard to see
and he embraces her with words
the woman of the sea
she granted all his wishes
his life once more full of glee
desires left him cursed, bereft
by the woman of the sea
when she returned home to the deep
he, left standing under life's tree
he danced and sang alone again
for the woman in the sea
